So we are still open and taking bookings but this crisis is far from over for us and for other businesses and more importantly for everyone.

Everyone has been hit by this crisis.

We are slowly having the bookings come back in but it will not be the same as previous years that is already clear.

Stay safe everyone.

Wow bye bye 2018!!

What a year it was.  We are so far along from where we were in January 2018 to now Jan 2019, work progressing as fast as we can afford to do it and a big thank you to all the Clients who have made it possible for us to be here.

We had a very busy year and have thrown pretty much every penny and more of the spare capital into improving the set up we have.

Many things to come for 2019 and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Hi all.

So July is upon us.

We have got the side shelter open 8 mtrs by 4,5 mtrs for the cool shade for the dogs.  It still needs a lick of paint but its open for the dogs to use and they are loving it.

Next stage is finishing the spare bedroom in the house and then on with the doggie pool in the corner.

So recently come across a fantastic paper craft artist (shes working on something special for me none work related)

Wanted to share some of her work.  Please visit her site and maybe place a order for some kids scrap books. or contacther for special orders. her prices are brilliant and her work is magnificent

and their faceboook:  https://www.facebook.com/lafourmicreative.fr

We are pretty full all through summer into mid October but do have some spaces.

We also still surprisingly still have Christmas spaces.

From me the Wagdaddy and the fun furtastic doggies on holiday, have a Wagtastic weekend.

the great puppy crisis

So the Puppy arrived with us this week after break down in her family and some neighbours of the family thought a puppy would solve all a families problems.

Luckily the family did the right thing and got in touch with a rescue association www.lesamisdesanimaux.com/ to get their puppy rehomed.

Now I am looking for a puppy but want one that I get to choose over the last 2 dogs who have chosen us.

I saw her on a post and was immediately taken with her and asked to meet her.  I then saw a client comment on her too and saw that much earlier than me her husband had been tagged I had just not registered the name.  So I rang her up and had a conversation with her and at the end of the conversation it was a given that Millie was not for me and that my client was the one she was destined to be a part of their family.

Now I am a bit sad but also know as it is a client that is adopting her is that I will get to see her often.  We have her till Sunday when she will be picked up by her new family and taken home.

A puppy will come my way eventually, that I will know is the one for us, until then I will keep on looking.  Do love this little monster and she has won everyone's hearts and stolen a few shoes and slippers.........

Please do visit the website for the charity or the facebook page as there are always dogs that are needing fostering and often there are puppies too.  www.facebook.com/groups/313621008806233

Natural flee and tic treatment

3/2/2018

So as of march when our current flee and tic treatment runs out on my own 2 dogs we are going to give a natural remedy a go.  i know 3 of our clients are currently using it and ive never see a sigle tic or flee on their dogs and a 4th is just about to start using it.

While i do not endorse this particular method this is the link to what i am going to be making for my 2:

If you use something similar please do let us know and what results you have had from it.

The first Dog Blog

16/1/2018

So our first blog......

We have been on site at the new place for 2 months now but only been open for 1 here and its been a very interesting 2 months.

While building continues after lots of problems that we wont bore folks with we decided to build phase 3 first.

(Boring alert)

Phase 1 was the kennels and the garden area.

Phase 2 is the in house dog area

Phase 3 was the front fenced welcome area (which is pretty big)

Phase 4 is the drive area

Phase 5 is a cattery (may or may not happen depending on costs as this we have to do from scratch.

(boring over)

So watching the dogs in the garden at 7:30am its great to see them stretch their legs and just mooch around to see whats new in the place (which is not much from yesterday but the dogs always seem to find some interesting smell to sniff at)

One of the thing I am glad about is other places not being able to point out the obvious that we don't live on site which I do now on a permanent basis.  It is one of the few things we always made sure to tell clients, now i don't have to :)

Im probably not very good at this blog thing but i'm hoping to get better and it might help me start to communicate with other humans although id much prefer to just communicate with your dogs.
